Twin Peaks (David Lynch)- I always knew about David Lynch because my dad always showed me clips of his movies and talked about how much of an innovative director he was, and tbf he's right. From the few episodes I have watched of this series, it's amazing. The entire environment of Twin Peaks, Washington is great and everyone seems friendly, although one of the characters is a scumbag who hits women. Overall though, Agent Cooper is an amazing detective, although his methods for figuring out clues are strange.

Grateful Dead- I have had an interest of psychedelic rock/late 60s to about early 80s rock but I never really knew about this group. I listened to like The Beatles' Psychdelic ablums (from Revolver to Magical Mystery Tour) and Frank Zappa's earlier work (which the first and second Mothers of Invention iterations were there to make fun of the flower power movement), and realizing I never really listened to The Dead, I decided to listen to a few songs by them. They're a very good band and I kind know now why their "stealie" logo is on fucking everything. It's because those products were made to steal the money right out of your wallet if you listen to them!
